Devizes to Westminster 2027 - Expression of Interest

The DW starts in Devizes, Wiltshire, finishing at Westminster Bridge in central London, opposite the Houses of Parliament. Taking place over the Easter Weekend, it’s a gruelling course, 125 miles long including 77 portages. The Senior Doubles class race non-stop.  The Stages races take place over 4 days and the finish is at Barn Elms in Putney.

This Pre-entry form is just for paddlers to show an Expression of Interest to Race in 2027.

The fee charged will be a holding deposit to an Early Bird Entry Scheme. This means your race price will be the price quoted for an Early Bird entry but you have till the end of the Advanced period to Enter. So the Early Bird class for you class stands until 14/02/2027.

Just to confirm that you will agree to abide by the rules and conditions laid down for the  next event.

These complete terms and conditions will  appear here when you make your Full entry to Race in 2027.

There is NO refund policy for the Pre race entry, the £25 is deducted from your race entry fee, which will depend on your Class and the Price band you enter in.

DW RACE REFUND POLICY ( for the full race entered )

1. NO CHANGES TO THE RACE

1.1. If there are no significant changes to the race and a competitor chooses to withdraw or is unable to paddle the race, there will be no refund.

1.2. The entry can be deferred for one year, and a top-up fee will be payable if the later race fees are higher.

1.3. The Directors will consider a refund in exceptional circumstances only - major injury, illness or other life changing event.

1.4. If exceptional circumstances are agreed, any withdrawal less than one month before the race may have an admin fee deducted.

2. CHANGES TO THE RACE

2.1. If the Devizes to Westminster Organisation cancel or significantly shorten the race prior to it starting, there will be refunds and or partial refunds as well as the option to defer for one year.

2.2. For entries deferred for one year, a top-up fee will be payable if the later race fees are higher.
